Hi, I’m Ros Maloney. I offer a warm, non-judgmental and safe space for adults and adolescents aged 16 years and older to explore and work through the mental health challenges that life can bring.
I offer over a decade’s experience in working with clients with a broad range of issues, and in variety of settings including private practice, alcohol and other drug services, and in teaching roles at Curtin University. I have a special interest in working with people who have experienced developmental or childhood trauma, complex trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, addictions and binge eating.
I am trained in, and utilise a variety of approaches, including Mindfulness, Schema Therapy, EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.
My qualifications are
- Master of Counselling Health Sciences (Curtin University)
- Bachelor of Science, Occupational Therapy (Curtin University)
I am a registered Mental Health Occupational Therapist and a member of Occupational Therapy Australia.
