Hi, I'm Heather Lilley and I founded Argrove Counselling because I am passionate about helping adults and children live mentally and emotionally healthy lives.  I believe in the potential of every person to heal, grow and develop a sense of ownership over the decisions in their lives. 

 

I've worked in various roles over the last 30 years as an EMDR therapist, Counsellor and Social Worker.  While I have experience with a broad range of mental health issues, I have a particular interest in working with individuals who have experienced trauma, complex trauma or who are living with anxiety.  I also have experience working with people who are struggling with alcohol and other drug dependencies.

For those of you who are interested, my qualifications include

• Masters in Counselling (Murdoch University), 

• Post Graduate Diploma Advanced Social Work (La Trobe University) 

• Bachelor of Social Work (Curtin University).

 

I am an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker,  a member of the Australian Association of Social Workers and a member of the EMDR Association of Australia.
